WEATHER: Cool weekend for Zululand expected

Saturday is expected to be a scorcher

With snowfall predicted in various parts in the country this weekend, Zululanders can remain confident that the ‘summer all year long’ conditions will prevail on the local front.

Rain is forecast for this afternoon, but according to the South African Weather Service (SAWS), it wont last long.

‘Today will be partly cloudy with some scattered showers, but it looks like it will fizzle out,’ said a forecaster from SAWS.

So beach weather is in the offing.

‘Clear skies are expected tomorrow morning, with slight cloud cover expected for the rest of the day. It will be a warm.

‘On Sunday there is a 30% chance of rain in the afternoon with strong winds expected (10-15 knots),’ said the forecaster.
