Must win game for Mancosa Rhinos, or else

A loss on Saturday will mean that the local side will have to beat Jaguars and UKZN Impis and rely on other results to remain in the Premier League next season

LOCAL rugby enthusiasts will have a tough time choosing which club to go support on Saturday as both Mancosa Rhinos and Richards Bay play at home, with all four sides scheduled to kick off at the same times.Rhinos have a must win game against Newcastle Highlanders at Mick Kelly Park, having gone down 43-19 and 38-33 (second team) to South Coast Warriors at the weekend.

Charles Mndaweni’s men will need to win this game to keep their Premier League dreams alive.
Rhinos went down to Newcastle Highlanders away from home in the first round,  so will need to make some serious changes if they want to edge out the visitors.

A loss on Saturday will mean that the local  side will have to beat Jaguars and UKZN Impis and rely on other results  to remain in the Premier League next season.

Richards Bay, who got drilled 69-6 and 97-10 (second team) by Varsity College on Saturday at Riverside in their Fidelity Security Moor Cup match-ups, will host Durban Collegians at the Richards Bay Rugby Club on Saturday.

Kick-off is scheduled for 2pm and 3.30pm.

Trevor Montgomery’s men went down by a large margin to Durban Collegians in round one, so they will have their work cut out for them in this encounter.
