New wheels for Empangeni Public Order Policing

A police vehicle that has close to a million kilometres on its clock, is simply unheard of. Combined with the fact that it is still in good working condition after years of handling Zululand’s harsh terrain, makes for one tough machine.

Warrant Officer Derrick Dlamini of the Empangeni Public Order Policing (POP) unit recently received a brand new Toyota Hilux after his old 1993 model had clocked 738 501 km.

The new vehicle formed part of a national rollout of vehicles for POP units across the country.
