Inyoni farm attack judgment postponed

Another four months before Inyoni murder case is finalised

THE accused facing murder and attempted murder charges following the death of Peter Johnson and the injury of his brother Ian in a farm attack in Inyoni in June last year, will have to sit it out another four months in jail before they hear their fate.

Thandiwe Cele, Nana Madikane and Sibusiso Sabelo Zulu appeared briefly in the Mtunzini High Court on Firiday, but judgement has now been set for Monday, 3 July.

Citing the volume of evidence to be read as the reason for the postponement, the court consulted with the legal representatives of the accused and state before reaching a decision.
