Passengers ejected from bakkie as driver loses control, smashes into barrier
THREE people died and three more were injured in a single vehicle crash on the N2 North between the R102 (Canefields) turn-off and the John Ross intersection this afternoon.

The passengers seated in the back of the bakkie were ejected as the canopy door and cat-flap were torn open.
They landed on and just over the barrier, suffering fatal injuries as they fell.
Paramedics from Khasa EMS, KwaZulu Private and KZN EMS were on scene to treat the injured passengers.
• Motorists are advised the right hand lane will be affected for most of the afternoon as emergency services wait for forensic photographers to attend the scene.
