Heatonville farmer dies in accident
A memorial service will be held at 11am on 4 January at the Victory Family Church
THE Heatonville and Empangeni sporting and farming communities were shocked to hear of the death of Frans Kraftt on Monday evening.
Frans, who celebrated his 56th birthday last month, was riding his motorbike when he was involved in an accident in Richards Bay.
He was transferred to a local hospital, but sadly died of his injuries later that night.
Frans was a greens keeper and bred championship Kalahari Red goats, for which he has won numerous awards.
He is survived by his wife Louwret, sons Jandri and Kobus and daughters-in-law Anna-Mart and Caitlin.
A memorial service will be held at 11am on 4 January at the Victory Family Church in Louis Botha Avenue, Empangeni.
