Matthew Bouman emerged victorious
FOLLOWING a half hour delay owing to shipping movements in the Richards Bay harbour, the Mondi Mouth 2 Mouth Surf Ski Challenge finally got underway with 62 paddlers hitting the open sea and heading south.
Matthew Bouman emerged victorious after finishing the Richards Bay to Mtunzini race in just under two-and-a-half hours.
Luke Nisbet finished second, followed by Gene Prato, while the first doubles entry of Shaun Dias and Pippa McGregor clocked a time of 2:37:27.68.
