THREE Hluhluwe women are behind bars after they were arrested on charges of raping a man last week.
The trio were arrested after a video showing them sexually assaulting the man went viral on social media.
According to a report by the Daily News, the man said he was called over to a woman’s home to help her fix
an electrical fault when he was attacked.
He said he had known the women growing up.
‘I am very angry,’ he was quoted as saying.
‘It is something I never thought would happen to me. There is not much I can do but try to move on.’
Police spokesperson Lieutenant-Colonel Thulani Zwane said the women appeared in the Hluhluwe Magistrate’s Court last week.
They appeared in court again on Tuesday and were released on bail of R1 000 each and scheduled to appear again on 25 October.
