Asande works hard to bring beauty title home

Asande is preparing to represent the region during the Miss SA Schools in the Northern Cape next month

YOUNG model Asande Khumalo (17) is looking for support.

This bubbly beauty queen from eSikhaleni needs assistance from Zululand benefactors as she prepares to represent the region and KZN at the Miss SA Schools pageant in the Northern Cape next month.

To build up a potfolio and strenghten her chances of making her dreams a reality, she needs support in raising funds for the big day.

Not only does she need ten locals to support her during the event, but she is also searching for sponsorship to help her conduct community work – a requirement for the competition that will add to her overall marks and increase her chances of winning.

‘I want is to use this experience to influence some needed change in my community.’

Asande is a passionate about working with orphans.

‘I lost my father and know the pain of losing a parent. I want to help orphans in my area and raise funds to assist orphanages.’

This Grade 11 pupil at Mdlamfe Secondary School was selected after her entry impressed the judges and outshone thousands of other hopefuls.

She was crowned first princess in the Queen eSikhaleni first pageant in June after a series of auditions.

She made a huge impression and was approached to be the face of Jabotts International Co – a photography and modelling company.

To help Asande, contact her mother on 083 9747131.
