Nishka a perfect all-rounder
The multi-talented eight-year-old achieves in the classroom, musically and out on the sports fields
VELDENVLEI Primary School’s Nishka Nursingh is the Supersport Let’s Play winner for July.
The multi-talented eight-year-old achieves in the classroom, musically and out on the sports fields.
She took up hockey and athletics last year and picked up the Best Grade 1 Hockey Player award.
Her dad, Hemant, trains her over weekends, during which they work on endurance, speed and ball skills.
Nishka is also a member of the school choir.
When not busy acing it in the classroom or training for sport, the talented Richards Bay youngster can be found hanging out on the beach, listening to music and catching up on her favourite shows on Nicktoons.
She aims to eventually earn her provincial and national colours for hockey and athletics.
What drives her to achieve her goals are her commitment to hard work, being strong-willed and a hatred of losing.
