AN unknown number of suspects escaped after a robbery at a garage in eShowe at 3.30am on Wednesday.
The armed robbers used explosives to blow open the safe and a large amount of money was taken.
Suspects held up the garage staff outside the building, while five armed men went into the shop and blew open the safe.
They left in a grey Ford Fiesta and a white Toyota X-Trail.
No shots were fired and there were no injuries.
In a previous robbery incident at the same garage on 5 January, five suspects were arrested – three of whom have been sentenced to between four and 15 years imprisonment.
The remaining two were due in court on Wednesday.
