Sign up for the Shaka Family Challenge
Participants do not have to belong to a club or have a licence to participate.
LOCAL athletes are encouraged to sign up for the Shaka Family Challenge at the Zululand Kayak Club (ZKC) on Saturday,27 August.
The challenge is presented by the ZKC together with the Nashua Richards Bay Athletics Club and Zululand Cycling Club.
The event allows sporting enthusiasts to compete in four different sport disciplines on the same day.
The disciplines are a 10km trail run (7am at R30), 10km mountain bike ride (9am at R20), 22km canoe race (11am at R120) and 10km or 3km sup board race (12pm at R50/R20).
Participants do not have to belong to a club or have a licence to participate.
There are great prizes and lucky draws to be won.
Registration starts from 6am at the ZKC.
