Photographers were tasked to showcase their talents by submitting their best monochrome snaps, or shots portraying plants, trees or flowers.

Apart from the challenge, the club’s open section drew in exceptional submissions, in which Kobus Maree’s ‘White Horse’ was awarded first place.

Gerrit Dyman won the challenge with ‘A Rosy Reflection’ and also took the junior award with the most points earned for his ‘Popping Balloon’.

Winners for this month’s sport theme will be announced next month.

Visitors and photographers are invited to attend club meetings on the first Tuesday of every month at the NSRI base, next to Zululand Yacht Club, in Richards Bay.
