Make way for the Croc Boys of Richards Bay
AMERICA is usually bigger and better with everything, but Gator Boys, take your hats off to the Croc Boys of the Bay.
The father and sons trio, Corrie, Joshua and David Pretorius, have vowed to restrict all that is flat, green and dangerous on both ends, from roads, pavements and parking lots.
This weekend, they apprehended another toothy jaywalker with a suspicious grin.
Croc capturing is a rare skill, which can stand you in good stead in Zululand, and the Pretorius clan has mastered the method of pulling the wool over O Scaly One’s eyes, before doing the leap of faith onto its back.
They don’t have a camera crew and crocodile teeth necklaces with which to impress viewers, but they do once in a while make waves in the local newspaper.
And for all who shed crocodile tears over the fate of the beasts – they are given a friendly slap on the rear end, with a verbal warning to stay out of trouble, roads and pools, before being released into their own fishing spot.
