On April 29 1957, Three time Oscar winner Daniel Day Lewis was born. Happy Birthday Daniel.

Daniel Day-Lewis, famous for his intense method acting and chameleon-like ability to disappear into character, was born on this day in 1957, in London, England.

He got his big break playing a street thug in Ghandi (1982) and went on to play iconic characters in films like The Last of the Mohicans, My Left Foot, LincolnThe Age of Innocence,  and There Will Be Blood. These roles earned him three Oscar Awards for Best Actor.
