GRANTHAM Park Primary School’s sports fields were buzzing with action when local schools sent their U9 boys and girls hockey, netball and rugby teams to participate in the annual Grantham Park Mini Sport Day on Saturday.
Veldenvlei’s Elgar du Plessis was named Rugby Player of the Tournament, Mandini’s Jaqui Bosman was awarded the Netball Player of the Tournament prize, with Felixton College’s Jenna Loosemore picking up the hockey award.
Schools competing were Arboretum, Empangeni Christian School, Empangeni Preparatory, eShowe Primary, Felixton College, Grantham Park Primary School, Grantleigh Schools, Heuwelland, Hluhluwe Privaatskool, KwaMbonambi Primary, Mandini, Richardia, Richards Bay Primary School, St Catherine’s, Veldenvlei, Zululand Remedial and Mtunzini.
