The eSikhaleni intersection will soon be beautified after a construction due to being soon
RELIEF is on the cards for eSikhaleni motorists after the uMhlathuze Municipality confirmed that the township’s main intersection will soon receive a major upgrade.
The road expansion will ease congestion at the intersection where drivers currently spend hours jammed in traffic every day.
‘Construction will start before the end of this financial year. Obviously there will be phases of construction as the project is planned over three financial years,’ said City Communications Manager Mdu Ncalane.
He said advertisements for a suitable contractor to execute the project will be sent out.
‘After internal procurement processes, the successful bidder will be announced and introduced to the public,’
