POLICE have arrested a 27-year-old bank employee in connection with the stokvel robbery that led to the shooting of Sergeant Niren ‘Foxy’ Ramsaroop in Empangeni.
According to a statement issued by KZN police spokesperson Major Thulani Zwane, the banker provided information to the robbers regarding the two woman who had withdrawn a large amount of cash.

Major Zwane did not wish to divulge the name of the bank or the position the employee held.
This is the fifth suspect arrested in connection with the robbery and murder.
