Hip-Hop heavyweight ready to rhyme

After leaving the Hip Hop group Teargas, KO released his solo album titled, 'Skhanda Republic', which pushed his music career to greater heights.

KO (real name Ntokozo Mdluli) will be hitting the Zululand Trade Fair stage tonight (Friday).

The South African rapper is expected to perform at 9pm, and local audiences are in for a show-stopping act.

Known for his impeccable rhythmic talents and ‘Did he just say that?’ punch-lines, the ‘Caracara’ hit maker has undoubtedly made headway in the South African music industry.

He managed to break national industry records on Youtube, after Caracara had over a million views and became the most viewed South African Hip-Hop video.

‘I am overwhelmed and motivated by this to keep feeding the market with what they love,’ he said.

He has also collaborated with the self-proclaimed prince of SA Hip-Hop, AKA, and their track ‘Run Jozi’ was an instant success among fans.
