Trade Fair countdown begins
The Zululand Trade Fair is back with a string load of entertainment.
ZULULANDERS will be pleased to know that the Zululand Trade Fair (ZTF) will be making a comeback this year – planned for 2 to 5 July.
The event will cater for all age groups and cultures in the community, and is known for attracting a broad cross-section of visitors.
National Defence Force displays and mock battles, FMX, the Miss Zululand finals, hotrods and drifting and Pure Venom, among other things, are on the menu.
The fair not only promotes economic development and growth in the area, but will also indirectly stimulate the local economy through tourism expenditure.
This year the ZTF organisers have partnered with Protea Hotel The Richards to find Zululand’s ultimate top chef.
One of the organisers of the event, Jeanette Small, said, ‘We will be hosting the final cook-off on 4 July, during which the five finalists will be put under pressure in front of a live audience. The winner will be crowned the Zululand Chef of the Year 2015.’
