Victim number five for ‘Satanic’ rapist

Preying on the desperation of the unemployed, the rapist has struck again.

THE ‘Satanic’ serial rapist prowling Empangeni has struck again, claiming his fifth victim.

Preying on the desperation of the unemployed women in Zululand, the rapist lures his victims with promises of employment.

A 27-year-old woman from Stanger responded to a message on social media, calling for women to come to Empangeni.

She met with a man at the eNseleni taxi rank around 9pm on Thursday. He told her he had arranged accommodation for her at a local bed and breakfast.

‘According to her statement she followed the man as he led her next to the railway,’ said Empangeni SAPS spokesperson, Captain Mbongeni Mdlalose.

The fiend then forced the woman into the bushes, where he made her get undressed and proceeded to rape her.

‘The suspect made off with her cellphone and money,’ said Mdlalose.

Police are urging women to be cautious when meeting with anyone for employment, and not to travel alone.

The suspect has been described as being in his late 30s to early 40s with tattoos on his arms.

According to reports he has a silver filling on his front tooth shaped like an upside down ‘T’.
