Cold weather warning for KZN
KZN disaster management teams on high alert as weather service issues disruptive rain and snow warning
THE South African Weather Service (SAWS) has issued a weather warning for disruptive snow affecting parts of KZN.
Areas to be affected include Harry Gwala District and areas under uThukela.

Icy roads, which could lead to travel and traffic disruptions, are highly anticipated.
In a statement released by KZN Cogta MEC Sihle Zikalala, residents in affected areas are urged to be cautious and avoid unnecessary trips as they may be hazardous.
‘Disaster management teams will continue to monitor routes, with plans in place to mobilise equipment to clear roads that become blocked by the snow, should the need arise,” he said.
Other parts of the province may experience heavy rainfall.
