ATM Women's League commends ANC PEC for recognising Nomusa Dube-Ncube's skills and experience

THE African Transformation Movement (ATM) Women’s League congratulated newly-elected KZN Premier Nomusa Dube-Ncube on her appointment.

Dube-Ncube was elected last Wednesday following the resignation of former premier Sihle Zikalala on Friday, 5 August.

League national spokesperson Gugu Xulu-Dlamini commended the ANC’s Provincial Executive Committee for recognising the skills, experience and capacity that Dube-Ncube has shown over the years.

“We perceive this as a big win for the women of South Africa, who are always expected to work three times as hard to be recognised,” said Xulu-Dlamini.

“This new role comes at a time when KZN is rebuilding after the devastating floods.

“A woman leader at this juncture of human suffering in the province is God ordained.”
