Support Rocking Richards Bay online rock auction fundraiser
The auction is in aid of a babies' home in Ingwavuma
ROCK-HUNTING lovers from Richards Bay and surrounds are gearing up for a rock auction in support of Butterfly Palliative Home in Ingwavuma.
The auction will run from 10am on 23 July to 5pm on 30 July on the events section of the ‘BlondieMoo Rocks’ Facebook page.

All proceeds raised will be donated to Butterfly Palliative Home, a foster care home in northern KZN.
Anyone can be involved in the auction, from supplying painted rocks to be auctioned, to bidding.
For those wanting to supply painted rocks to be auctioned, there is no theme, but all rocks must be dropped off by no later than 18 July.
How the auction will work
The organisers will upload a picture of the rocks to the events’ page on ‘BlondieMoo Rocks’ Facebook page from 9am on 23 July.
They will be uploaded individually so bidders can keep track of their bids easily.
Any pictures with two or more rocks will count as one entry, and bids will be for the whole group of rocks (sets are welcome).
The last chance for new rocks to be included in the auction will be at 10am on 22 July.

About the beneficiary
Butterfly Palliative Home in Ingwavuma provides end-of-life care to babies and toddlers with severe disabilities and
life-limiting conditions.
It aims to provide end-of-life care with the devotion and expert medical care these babies require, in a friendly and comforting environment.
The facility is also committed to empowering widows in the local community, who play an integral role in caring for the babies.
