Can you help boost CANSA Care Centre’s funds?

Using Richards Bay CANSA Care House and Centre facilities and resources to help boost the organisation’s bank balance, the facility’s swimming pool is available for hire by swimming instructors for training use.

According to the centre’s new fund development and service delivery co-ordinator Sphe Mabaso, locals can make use of the private pool for lessons or training for a fee as part of the centre’s new fundraising initiative.

‘The swimming pool is well-maintained and is in a secure property.

‘We also have a big, beautiful lemon tree with ripe fruit which community members can purchase. All the funds raised will go towards our projects.

‘We will continue to fundraise, and we encourage locals who can assist, to support our initiatives and make donations and sponsorship to help us continue with our work of offering support and assistance to cancer patients, survivors and their families,’ said Mabaso.
