Fatal Tuesday morning crash on R34

Seven died on scene while six others are in a critical condition

SEVEN people have been killed and six critically injured in a tragic crash involving a bakkie and another car on the R34 between Ulundi and Vryheid this (Tuesday) morning.

The seven were pronounced deceased at the scene while the seriously injured were treated by KZN Emergency Medical Services (EMS) paramedics before being transported to various hospitals.

The cause of the accident is unknown, but a police investigation is underway.
