Free rabies clinic at Brackenham

Dogs must be on a leash and cats in a carrier when visiting the rabies vaccination outreach

A FREE rabies clinic will take place outside Brackenham Community Hall in Richards Bay on Thursday and Friday.

Richards Bay SPCA will be hosting the free vaccination outreach and municipal licences will also be available to buy.

Pet owners are urged to take advantage of this service.

Strict social distancing and Covid-19 protocols will be followed.

The fees for dog and cat licenses for sterilised animals (with proof) is R43 per animal and unsterilised animals are R110 each; all licences are renewable annually.

Owners must note that hefty fines are applicable if one does not have a valid licence or rabies certificate.

Proof of sterilisation must be produced and payment will be in cash only.

Ensure all dogs are on a leash and cats in a cat carrier.
