Covid-19: Richards Bay home affairs office closed owing to positive case
This leaves only the eSikhawini, eShowe and Nkandla offices open in the region, with only eShowe able to facilitate applications for smart cards
THE Department of Home Affairs offices in Richards Bay will be closed from today (Thursday) and will reopen on Monday, 21 December, owing to an official testing positive for Covid-19.
All officials must isolate for ten days, the end of the quarantine period being Saturday, 19 December.

This comes after the Empangeni office was closed earlier this week, reopening on Friday, 18 December.
This leaves only the eSikhawini, eShowe and Nkandla offices open in the region, with only eShowe able to facilitate applications for smart cards.
The Richards Bay office urges the public to wait until Richards Bay home affairs has reopened, to eliminate influx at operational offices.
