Crocodile on Richards Bay beach

The croc is sunning itself on the recreational beach at Small Craft Harbour

THE recreational beach area at Small Craft Harbour is currently a no go zone as a large crocodile is sunning itself on the sand.

Initially seen just before 8am this (Thursday) morning, the croc dipped back into the water for a few minutes before resurfacing.

The Richards Bay SPCA has been notified and are on scene, assessing whether or not it needs to be captured and relocated.

Ezemvelo KZN Wildlife has also been notified and will work with the SPCA.
