Social media campaign urges people to wear face masks for the protection of their loved ones

SOUTH Africans are posting photographs of themselves proudly donning their face masks as they participate in the MTN #WearItForMe social media campaign which reminds people to consider the health of their nearest and dearest before refusing to wear a mask.
With the slogan ‘spread the message not the virus’, the campaign is the top trending item on Twitter and is this (Wednesday) morning aflood with #WearItForMe posts as everyone participating in the campaign urges others to do so.
