WATCH: Moving funeral service for Richards Bay nurse

IN a moving ceremony at Netcare The Bay Hospital on Tuesday morning, Sister Chantal Naiker was shepherded to her final resting place by a guard of honour.

Colleagues lined the perimeter of the hospital grounds as the funeral procession, led by a lone piper, was followed by an ornate carriage, its transparent windows displaying the beautiful white casket, symbolic of the uniform of her beloved profession.

Sister Chantal sadly passed away on Sunday, leaving behind her husband Sanjay and their daughter Sienna.
