Protest causes road closure in King Cetshwayo district
Ongoing water-related protests have rocked parts of the district over the past week
PROTEST action has once again caused the closure of the R66 between Gingindlovu and eShowe, with protesters blocking the road with burning debris.
This follows a string of water-related protests last week.

The unrest began early this (Tuesday) morning.
Traffic police arrived on scene, as has the SAPS Public Order Policing (POP) unit.
Motorists were earlier being diverted to the R102, and are urged to avoid the R66.
