With the country in lockdown, the aim was to support disadvantaged young rural girls, who normally receive government issued sanitary pads at their schools.Beneficiaries were identified by community leaders and the foundation team visited them at their homes.

The foundation has appealed for more support from all sectors as it wants to expand the project to other parts of the region.
