Nkandla detectives track down murder suspects

The main suspect was arrested while attempting to flee the country

NKANDLA detectives have arrested three suspects wanted for the kidnapping and murder of a teacher, Makhosazana Ngcobo (41).

The main suspect was traced to Witbank in Mpumalanga and was arrested on Thursday while trying to flee the country.

Acting on information following his arrest, police were led to Ndindindi in Nqutu where they arrested two more suspects, aged 32 and 42, on Friday.

One of these two suspects is a traditional healer.

All three men are due to appear in the Nkandla Magistrate’s Court on Monday on charges of murder and kidnapping.

The body of Ngcobo was found near a road in the Thalaneni area outside Nkandla.
