WATCH: Richards Bay taxi rank disinfected to prevent virus spread

AS a matter of routine throughout the lockdown period, the City of uMhlathuze has undertaken to disinfect public spaces, including taxi ranks.

The disinfection process takes place at the end of a busy day and involves hosing down the most used public places with disinfectant spray.

This is a pre-emptive measure to prevent the spread of Covid-19.

Both Richards Bay and Empangeni taxi ranks have been disinfected more than once in an operation that will be ongoing for the immediate future.
