Women are strong, creative and inspirational beings and we can do anything if we set our minds to it.

Think not only about the present, however, consider where you want to be in 10 to 15 years and work on a plan to achieve this. This plan needs to consider your end goal – how will you know if you are successful?

Consider the ingredients you need on your path to get there. There are academic requirements and never underestimate the power of coaching and mentorship, particularly in the early stages of your development, coupled with a level of emotional maturity.

Find a career that excites you and that you are really passionate about, also consider how you can give back to our communities and the less fortunate. We all have a role to play in our communities and this can be personally rewarding.

If a balanced life is what you aspire towards; where you want a career, the beautiful house with a family, kids, pets and everything ese in between, then also consider your family support structures and the demands of your career. Many a times woman are faced with difficulty in balancing their family and careers and it does not have to be that tough. It takes some careful planning, stacks of support and a daily prayer.

Set your goals and embrace your dreams! With hard work, dedication and a great support network you can be anything you want to be!
