Support Thuthukani Carnival

Children with disabilities need your help

‘IT is not beyond our power to create a world in which all children have access to a good education’

This was the powerful statement of Nelson Mandela, who believed education has the power to transform the lives of children, now and for generations to come.

Zululanders now have the opportunity of translating this into action by supporting the Thuthukani Special School’s fund-raising drive to help children with disabilities.

To ensure children have access to quality education, the school will host its annual Thuthukani Carnival at the Empangeni Rugby Club on Saturday, 18 May to boost its coffers.

Zululanders are requested to support the cause by opening their hearts and wallets.

The entertainment line-up will feature top notch musicians Dalene and Zane.

The school is calling on crafters and businesses that want to be a part of the day to book their stalls from where they can sell their wares and introduce their products.

R150 secures a 3x3m stall space.

Zululanders can also donate items that can be use as prizes or for raffles.

Tickets are R10, and the carnival will start at 9am.
