The inflatable park is attached to the Umfolozi Hotel, Casino and Convention Resort, making it easy for families to plan trips for enjoying the resorts many attractions.

General Manager, Pam Nagappa, said there will be other dry attractions for those who wish to refrain from getting wet.

‘You won’t have to get splashed at every ride at the inflatable park thanks to plenty of activities that take place on dry land.

‘Craft markets, displaying beads and wares for young and old, a host of entertainment, including music and talent programmes as well as a food court with tasty offerings for the entire family are but just some of the other activities that will be available.’

According to Marketing Manager at Umfolozi Casino, Nishara Naidoo, safety will be an important aspect in creating a family orientated environment.

‘The park will be fenced in and secure.

‘Access control will be tight and all aspects of safety will be considered.

‘Different coloured wristbands will be given out on a daily basis which will allow access to specific areas.

‘Visible marshals and full time medical facility on site with an onsite operations hub housing a lost and found desk

‘Play areas will be age zoned in order to protect the little ones in a clear and safe environment.

‘All rides and slides will be age and size defined

‘The toddler park will allow children between the ages of 4 to 8 years old and will require parental supervision.’

Naidoo emphasised that while Umfolozi Casino is keen to provide a holiday destination and experience to remember for a lifetime, there are a number of rules and regulations that will be enforced in order to provide a seamless and safe event.

‘Food, beverages and camping chairs will not be allowed.

‘Try not to leave your children unattended for long periods – remember, this is a family park.
