A YOUNG couple accused of assaulting two elderly people in Mtuzini on Thursday morning, were arrested in Ballito on the same day.
The elderly couple were confronted at a caravan park in Mtunzini.

A source said the suspects were spotted hiking on the N2 towards Durban shortly after the incident was reported to police.
It is not clear whether robbery was the motive for the assault.
King Cetshwayo Police Cluster spokesman, Captain Mbongeni Mdlalose, confirmed the arrest and said the two suspects will be transferred to Mtuzini SAPS where they will be formally charged.
