THE sole occupant of a BMW burnt to death after he crashed into a bus on the R102 north of Empangeni, close to the Old Mill turn-off.

The accident happened at around 12.30pm this (Saturday) afternoon.

There were no passengers on the bus and the driver escaped serious injury.
