‘The city is currently in the process of dealing with the overgrowth in town.

‘There is a schedule for grass cutters and so far it’s working well. The tractor cuts and proceeds to other areas, followed by pickers who clear the cut grass..

‘No external contractor has been engaged to execute this task,’ said Ncalane.

He further noted that town pool would be opened by Saturday.

‘The city ran out of chemicals and has ordered new stock.’

It must be noted that on Tuesday the ZO noticed that work with grass cutting had begun.
