A HLABISA man was arrested and will now go through the legal system for allegedly raping his niece.
According to police reports, the 32-year-old man found the victim (12) in the kitchen of their home and ordered her to follow him to his bedroom, where he forced her to undress, and raped her.
The victim reported the incident to her granny and a police case was opened.
He was arrested at his home in Mabhokisini area, Hlabisa.
The accused appeared at Hlabisa Magistrate’s Court for bail application.
At the time of going to print, the outcome of the bail application was unknown.
