THREE months after she was initially reported missing, UniZulu student Mbali Gumede (23), has been found and reunited with her family in Nkonjane.
King Cetshwayo SAPS spokesperson, Captain Mbongeni Mdlalose, confirmed with the ZO this afternoon that Mbali had been found in Soweto on Tuesday, although it is still unclear as to what transpired and how she ended up in Johannesburg.
Members from the Mtunzini Criminal Investigation Division (CID), received information and drove to Soweto where they found her.

Mtunizni SAPS opened a case of missing persons on 5 June when Gumede was initially reported missing.
Later SAPS opened a separate case of kidnapping and begun investigating the matter further.
Mbali was last seen when she was on her way to the University of Zululand to collect her documents after her graduation.
