Massive turnout for walk against drugs

The event was well attended by community members as well as school children of all ages

THE annual SANCA/Eyethu Bay Watch Walk Away from Drugs was once again a huge success, with over 800 participants entering Saturday’s fun walk.

Ranging in age from small children to adults, the anti-drug, anti-substance abuse message was carried from the walk’s starting point at Zululand Yacht Club, over a 5km distance out to Naval Island and back.

Numerous trophies, prizes and fun spot prizes were handed out afterwards.
