NRB look for win on the road

At this early stage of the season, it is too soon to judge relative strengths and weaknesses, so predictions are hard to make

THE resolve of Richards Bay FC will again be put to the test as they travel south to take on Cape Town All Stars on Sunday.

At this early stage of the season, it is too soon to judge relative strengths and weaknesses, so predictions are hard to make.

The Natal Rich Boyz made a superb comeback to draw 1-1 with Real Kings on Sunday, while the Cape side beat newcomers TTM FC by the only goal of their match played last weekend.

On the other hand, All Stars did not provide much of a threat to the NFD title chasers last season.

But the NRB boys will go into the game well prepared and not expecting any favours in the Cape – a notorious place when it comes to decisions.

They showed enough strength of character in their first outing to suggest they will approach the match with plenty of confidence.

It’s going to take a few fixtures to work out the best combinations and three points away from home will be just the tonic their league aspirations require.
