Empangeni SPCA has some beautiful cats and dogs looking to be welcomed into new, loving homes

THE Empangeni SPCA has some new dogs and cats that have come up for adoption.

They are all loving and affectionate and looking for loving, caring homes.

All dogs at Empangeni SPCA walk well on leads, courtesy of the Empangeni Dog Club, and all dogs adopted from this SPCA get a free beginners training course at the Empangeni Dog Club.

Ruby was one of the ‘Durnford Duo’ rescued from Durnford Park in Empangeni in May.
Since being at Empangeni SPCA, Ruby has come out of her shell and is a friendly, affectionate dog.and wonderful mother to her puppy. In about four weeks’ time, both Ruby and her puppy will be ready for adoption

There is a strict adoption procedure which includes the completion of an application form, a property inspection and, if approved, the following fees apply: R750 for dogs and R450 for cats.

This little black cross-breed is a female of about six months old

This is a once-off fee and includes sterilisation of the animal, vaccinations and de-worming.

Empangeni SPCA is battling with low food stocks and is in desperate need of donations.

Amber is a female pitbull of about five months old now up for adoption. Amber is a lovely natured dog, very friendly and is looking for a loving home

Apart from food, (soft and hard for dogs and cats, puppies and kittens) the SPCA also welcomes donations of toys, blankets, dog collars and leads.

Donations can be dropped off either at the SPCA or at their Paws a While charity shop upstairs at Fiveways Mall.

This ginger kitten and his black sibling are about three months old and are up for adoption. They were donated to the SPCA and are very affectionate, loving cats
