Taxi safety campaign launched

Leading to the taxi Awards, businesses joint forces to support Road Safety campaign

Present at the launch of the taxi safety campaign are various sponsors who support the initiative - Imperial Nissan representatives Darrell Rowe and Debbie Smith, North Coast Group's Lindiwe Dube and Mthandeni Mbambo, Sihle Msane and Thandiwe Mngomezulu of the Ngwelezane Taxi Association, Vibe Online Managing Director Mpendulo Mbulawa and Zulchem CEO Anton Knoetze

WITH the Taxi Awards around the corner, local businesses in partnership with Ngwelezane Taxi Association and other stakeholders launched the road safety campaign in Empangeni on Friday.

The aim of the project is to promote customer care, safety on the road and ensure professionalism.

‘We appreciate that businesses saw the importance of the initiative and decided to provide support.

‘This is just a beginning. It is not only about the award ceremony, but more about encouraging safety of the passengers by working together,’ said North Coast Group representative, Lindiwe Dube.
