Facelifted Audi SQ2 revealed with even sharper design

The new Audi SQ2 is slated to go on sale in Europe early 2021 and it is expected to launch locally likely a few months later. 

Audi has revealed its refreshed SQ2 sporty crossover that spawns similar visual changes worn by the facelifted Q2.

The front comes fitted with new daytime running lights that are featured on the brand’s latest models.

The front bumper has also been reworked.

There are two optional black exterior design packages finished in glossy black on the single-frame grille. The gloss black is also applied on the air vents, diffuser, side mirror caps and c-pillar.

The rear comes with a redesigned bumper plus slightly dark tint on the lights.

Although the SQ2 is not sold in SA, its power output rated at 221 kW and 400 Nm remains unchanged.

All that amount of power comes from a 2.0-litre petrol engine that is paired with a Quattro AWD system plus a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission.

Speaking of performance, the SQ2 hurtles from a standstill to 100 km/h in 4.9 seconds before hitting the limiter at 250 km/h.

The refreshed Audi SQ2 can be had with 18-inch or 19-inch wheels.

The new Audi SQ2 is slated to go on sale in Europe early 2021 and it is expected to launch locally likely a few months later. The SQ2 is aimed directly at the yet-to-be-launched T-Roc R.
