On the outside, the facelifted models spawn a redesigned front and rear ends. The front now features a quattro logo in a matt titanium-look, enlarged air inlets that have been divided by vertical stripes on the inside and outside.

Audi fitted extra radiators for cooling purpose and all are embodied in the familiar RS honeycomb grille.

The refreshed Audi TT RS gets a continuous front spoiler that is painted in body colour as standard but is also available in a matt aluminium look or gloss black.

The RS model has a gloss black inlay in the newly designed side sill.

The exterior mirror housings are available in matte aluminium look and gloss black. The rear comes fitted with a newly designed fixed rear wing with side winglets as well as a new RS-specific diffusor.

The TT RS still comes with two oval exhaust tips.

The fabric top of the TT RS Roadster is only available in black.

The Audi exclusive program offers various additional possibilities for individualization of the exterior paint finish. It runs on 20-inch wheels that are kitted out in a gloss black finish as standard.

The brake callipers are painted red as standard. As an option, the RS sport suspension plus is available with adaptive dampers in Audi magnetic ride technology.

Power comes from a 2.5-litre TFSI five-pot petrol engine with 294 kW of power and 480 Nm of torque plus a seven-speed S tronic system that sends power to all four wheels using the quattro system.

The TT RS Coupe hurtles from a standstill to 100 km/h in 3.7 seconds en route to a limited top speed of 250 km/h and if you think that is not enough, Audi can remove the limiter to enable the models to top at 280 km/h.

The Coupé and Roadster are now available at Audi Sport Dealerships in South Africa. The price for the Coupé is R1,062,000.

The Roadster starts at R1,113,500, inclusive of VAT and all taxes and standard with a five year and/or 100 000 KM Audi Freeway Plan.
