Gararo will be launching an album titled ‘Mission 92’ on Youth Day, June 16 at Klarinet Extension 8

A man who grew up in the streets of Old Coronation and is one of the Emalahleni FM presenters is making waves in the music industry.

The new school rapper known by the stage name of Smish Gararo is a rising star. Gararo was born in Burgersfort and moved to eMalahleni at the age of 10.

Gararo will be launching an album titled ‘Mission 92’ on Youth Day, June 16 at Klarinet Extension 8 at a netball ground from 15:00 till late.

“Emalahleni FM, the vibe, will be broadcasting from the venue on the day. Gararo will be performing his hit songs from the album which is going to be on sale on the day, the plan being to sell 100 000 copies eventually. Local artists, rappers, DJs, poets and singers will be entertaining the crowd,” said Gararo.

Emalahleni Local Municipality youth manager will address young people about the youth of 1976 at the event motivating them and giving messages of support to them.

Gararo believes that one day he will make it in the music industry and represent eMalahleni in the future.

“I believe that everything is possible as long as I stay focused and putting in more work. Since joining Emalahleni FM, in the past five years I have made a difference in the lives of my listeners,” added Gararo.
